The Viewtron IP-A4DZ is a 4 megapixel dome IP camera with built-in IR night vision and 2.8-12mm motorized varifocal lens. The IP-A4BZ is also an AI security camera with the following advanced video analytics functions:
vehicle detection, traffic counting camera, person detection, and human face recognition / face detection. This network IP camera is enclosed in a IP67 rated weatherproof housing so that it can be used for indoor and outdoor installations. The built-in IR LEDs provide infrared illumination up to 120 feet. This IP camera is great for commercial and home installation.
The 2.8-12mm motorized varifocal lens with auto focus provides an adjustable 118° - 35° field of view. The zoom lens can be adjusted from the iPhone and Android App. The tri-axis bullet mount allows installers to ceiling mount or wall mount the camera. The optional
installation junction box allows all of the camera's cables to be neatly housed. This IP camera is ONVIF protocol compliant so that it can be used with any ONVIF compatible NVR, however in order to use the AI software functions, you must use a
Viewtron IP camera NVR or configure the AI software functions by directly logging into the camera through a web browser.

Important Note: AI cameras can only be configured for one type of AI function. For example, you can not setup an AI camera to do both facial recognition and vehicle detection at the same time. If you need to perform 2 different types of AI functions, then you need 2 cameras.
Watch this video to see how easy installation is with the camera's turret-style / eyeball style mount. Simply loosen the set screw at the base of the camera to point the camera lens in any direction. When you are done adjusting the angle, tighten the set screw. The camera is very sturdy and the set position will not move. The Allen wrench is included.
This is an IP67 rated security camera. The weatherproof housing provides 100% protection from dust and 100% protection from water intrusion. This camera can safely be installed outdoors in areas that have a extremely heavy rain and high humidity. It can also be installed in very cold climates and along ocean coasts where there is salt water in the air.

AI Features
Here are some of the AI functions (artificial intelligence) that are supported by this IP camera.
The vehicle detection function of Viewtron AI cameras is much more reliable than video motion technique used by a non-AI camera. Traditional video motion detection produces a lot of false alerts. A well trained AI camera can detect cars and motorcycles in real time and with 99% accuracy. Object detection events can trigger alarms such as video recording, mobile app push notifications, DVR buzzer, photo snapshots, and email alerts.

View IP Cameras Installed at Multiple Locations

Watch this video to see how Mike uses a Viewtron AI camera to monitor the construction of the pool in his back yard. When a person enters the intrusion zone, the camera triggers an alarm on the Viewtron NVR. The NVR sends a
push notification to the iPhone app. Viewtron IP cameras and NVRs also support push alerts to the Android mobile app.
The person detection function of Viewtron AI cameras works the same as vehicle / car detection. An intrusion zone is mapped out on the DVR interface. The only difference is that human detection is selected in the setup, instead of vehicles. The red rectangle is the intrusion zone in in the above screenshot. You can see when Mike crosses over the intrusion zone, he is detected as a human and an alarm event is triggered.

The face detection function of Viewtron AI cameras makes it easy to trigger alarms based on a human face appearing within the view of the camera. The above screenshot was captured using a Viewtron IP-A4D dome AI camera connected to a
Viewtron IP camera NVR. When a face is detected, the event is recorded in the NVR's database. Thumbnail images can be displays (like you see above) for easy access to playback the recorded video of the facial detection.

The optional
VT-J302 security camera junction box has pre-threaded screw mount holes specifically for the IP-AX4D camera. There is a bottom and side inlet for cable. When the bottom inlet is used, the inlet plug can be moved to the size inlet.
This is the optional
VT-L203 wall mount bracket option for this camera. Please note that a smaller dome IP camera is pictured, but this L-Bracket works with the IP-AX8D camera also.
This is the
VT-JP407 arm mount bracket option for this camera. Please note that you also need the VT-J302 junction box to use this arm mount option. The junction box attaches to the arm mount with pre-drilled screw holes, and the camera is mounted to the junction box with pre-drilled holes and machine screws that are included. View Your Security Cameras Remotely
The IP-A4BZ works great with
Viewtron hybrid security camera DVRs and Viewtron IP camera NVRs with PoE. Viewtron hybrids support BNC cameras and network IP cameras up to 4K resolution. Viewtron NVRs support IP cameras and have built-in power over Ethernet. The remote camera viewing apps are able to connect directly to Viewtron IP cameras and also to DVRs / NVRs.
PoE for IP Camera
This IP camera is PoE (Power-over-Ethernet) compliant which allows the installer to run a single CAT-5e network cable to provide both power and data connectivity to the camera. CAT6 cable can also be used. CCTV Camera Pros supplies the following PoE injectors and PoE network switches which are compatible with this camera.
