How does the auto-tracking PTZ software handle a situation when more than one human object or vehicle object enter the tracking zone?
When you configure the auto-tracking feature, you create an intrusion zone or line crossing zone and select if you want human detection or vehicle detection to trigger the auto-tracking. When the AI software detects a human object or vehicle object, the camera will automatically pan, tilt, and zoom to track the detected object until it is no longer in view, then return to the home position where the intrusion zone or line crossing zone is setup. If two objects enter the intrusion zone at the exact same time, like two humans, two cars, or one of each, the AI software prioritizes which object was more positively identified and tracks that object. The AI software uses a scoring system when identifying the types of objects it is trained on. For example, if two cars enter a detection / intrusion zone at the exact same time and the AI software is 99.1% positive that the first car is in fact a car, and the second car is rated at 99.6% positive, the second car will be tracked because it is more positive that the second car is actually a car.
