The Zavio CB3211 mini outdoor IR bullet camera can capture 1080p HD video surveillance recording resolution of 1920 x 1080 at up to 25 frames per second. The Zavio CB3211 includes a fixed 3.6mm lens and 1/2.8" CMOS image sensor that together provide an 82° horizontal angle of view.
The IP66 rated housing protects the vital components of the camera from harsh weather conditions, dust, humidity, and ensures reliable operation for indoor and outdoor security applications. In addition, the included bracket conceals the cable and prevents it from being cut or damaged by vandals.
For low and zero light security, the CB3211 has built-in Infrared LED illuminators with an effective range of up to 25 meters / 82 feet. The LEDs are controlled with Smart IR technology. Smart IR automatically adjusts the intensity of the LEDs as objects move towards and away from the camera. This prevents the image from being oversaturated. Without the use of the infrared LEDs, this camera has a 0.05 lux rating in color mode and a 0.005 lux rating in black & white mode.
Further enhancing the low light image quality is the Removable IR Cut Filter, which blocks the infrared lighting and only allows the visible light to pass through.
The Digital WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) feature is specifically designed to work in environments with challenging lighting conditions, such as an ultra-bright or dark background. It works by combining the brightest part of the image with the darkest part to produce an image similar to that of the human eye.
The Corridor Mode featured on this camera is ideal for hallways and long, narrow passageways. It works by shifting the angles of view so that the vertical angle of view is wider than the horizontal angle of view.
The Zavio CB3211 can be powered by the included 12V-DC power supply or by POE 802.3AF. The POE option allows the user to run both video and power over one Cat5 cable. A Micro SD/SDHC/SDXC Card Slot (up to 128GB supported) allows the user to store snapshots and video clips locally on the camera rather than over the network.
Like all Zavio IP Cameras, the CB3211 includes a 64 channel recording software to give the user the features of a network video recorder.
