The Vivotek VC8201-M33 is a Split IP Camera System in which the camera unit and video core are separated. The separate design of the Vivotek VC8201-M33 makes the camera unit much smaller and allows it to blend into the environment with ease. This version of the VC8201
includes 2 - 5 Megapixel Fisheye cameras that are connected to the core unit using the included 8 meter / 26 foot cables (Maximum distance the cameras can be from the video core unit).
Important Update! CCTV Camera Pros no longer supplies Vivotek products. CCTV Camera Pros highly recommends Viewtron IP cameras and NVRs. This is our best selling BNC and IP product line by far.

Viewtron NVRs (Vivotek Replacement)
We also have a complete line of
Viewtron IP camera NVRs available in 8ch, 16ch, 32ch, and 64ch models. Our Viewtron NVRs have AI object detection software and license plate detection software built-in. There is NO additional or recurring software licensing. They also include the best remote security camera viewer apps and software available. All Viewtron NVRs are ONVIF compliant, so they also work with existing Vivotek IP cameras and all other ONVIF compatible brands.
The cameras are capable of recording in
1696 x 1696 resolution at up to 15 frames per second. A fixed 1.27mm lens provides an 180° angle of view in all directions. WDR Enhancement allows the camera to capture high quality video in high contrast lighting. It works by combining the brightest part of the image with the darkest part to create one highly detailed image.
The whole system can be powered by either
12V-DC or POE 802.3af, allowing for both data and power to be run over one Cat-5E cable. A Micro SD / SDHC / SDXC Card Slot on the video core allows for local recording of video clips and snapshots. The camera units have built-in Microphones for audio recording.
Like all Vivotek camera, the VC8201 includes a 32 channel central management software for video management and recording.
This IP camera is PoE (power over Ethernet) compliant which allows the installer to run a single CAT-5e cable to provide both power and data connectivity to the camera. CCTV Camera Pros supplies the following PoE injectors and PoE network switches which are compatible with this camera.
