Surveillance System Remote Internet Viewing Setup

The following video demonstrates how to setup the NUUO surveillance system for remote Internet viewing from an Internet Explorer web browser.

Welcome to CCTV Camera Pros video instruction series. In this video, we will demonstrate how to setup the NUUO surveillance system for remote Internet viewing from the Internet Explorer web browser. The software used by NUUO DVR cards and NUUO IP camera software are the same so the setup instructions are the same for analog CCTV camera systems, IP camera systems, and hybrid surveillance systems consisting of both types of cameras.

  1. To begin, if you have not already started your NUUO surveillance system main console, you can do this by selecting to start the NUUO main console in Windows.
  2. Enter your login information when prompt to do so and press OK. The main console will then start.
  3. Click on the configure button and select network service.
  4. On the network service page, we will activate both the live streaming and remote playback services.
  5. First, click on the live streaming icon and click on the start button.Next, click on the remote playback icon and click the start button.
  6. Press the OK button when done.
  7. Live viewing and remote playback are now active. Leave the NUUO system running and minimize it by clicking on the minimize button in the lower left.
  8. Launch Internet Explorer from a PC that is connected to the same network as your surveillance system.
  9. Type in the IP address and port that your NUUO system is running on.
  10. Select remote live view from the main screen.
  11. Enter your login information and press OK.
  12. You can select which cameras you want to activate on the right and drag them to the window that you want them displayed in.
  13. To log out, just close Internet Explorer.
