iDVR-E Series Surveillance DVR Password Reset Instructions
Password Reset Instructions
Please follow the instructions below to reset the password on the iDVR-E Series surveillance DVR.
1. Go to the front of the iDVR-E and locate the "UP" and "2" buttons.
2. Now hold down the "UP" and "2" buttons until the "Password Initialized" tab appears (Usually takes between 10 - 20 seconds).
3. Your password should now be set to the default of six zeros "000000".
New 16 Channel Models
On the newest version of the 16 channel iDVR-E, the password reset instructions are a little different. Instead of holding down "UP" and "2", you will need to hold down "2" and "5". The same "Password Initialized" message will appear when complete. (Shown Below)
