The HD-Q28 is a
hybrid HD security camera with night vision that supports AHD, HD-TVI, HD-CVI, and Analog CCTV video formats. Because the HD-Q28 supports these 4 video formats, it is compatible with just about all BNC input type surveillance DVRs. The Progressive Scan CMOS image sensor supports 1000 TV lines of high resolution in analog CCTV mode and 2 megapixel / 1080p resolution in HD modes. This camera is weatherproof, with an enclosure rating of
IP66, and can be used for indoor or outdoor home, business, and government surveillance. This camera is also equipped with a sun shield and a 2.8 ~ 12mm Varifocal Lens. The 2.8 ~ 12mm lens allows the installer to dial in the perfect viewing angle for their specific application. With the built-in IR LEDs, the HD-Q28 is capable of viewing up to 40 meters / 120 feet in complete darkness using infrared night vision. The housing of the camera, as well as the mounting bracket, is Dark Gray. The mount is included and will allow for either wall or ceiling installation.

The above image was captured using the HD-Q28 running in 1080p AHD mode. The camera was mounted in a medium sized room at CCTV Camera Pros office in West Palm Beach, Florida. This room is 29 feet wide by 16 feet deep. All of the lights are on in the room so that the camera is operating in daytime / color mode.
The above image was captured with all of the lights and computer monitors turned off in the room so that there was zero light. You can see that the IR night vision of the HD-Q28 is excellent.
When the HD-Q28 is connected to an iDVR-PRO surveillance DVR, you can
remotely view your security camera using mobile apps.

Concealed Cable Mounting Bracket
The bracket included with this camera completely conceals the video and power cable of the camera. The bracket is also a tri-axis style which allows you to rotate the body of the camera in any direction to get the exact view that you want.

Video Format Control
To switch between Analog, AHD, CVI, and TVI, please follow the instructions below.
- CVBS / Analog CCTV Mode: Hold the UP button on the OSD for 5 seconds.
- HDCVI Mode: Hold the DOWN button on the OSD for 5 seconds.
- HD-TVI Mode: Hold the RIGHT button on the OSD for 5 seconds.
- AHD Mode: Hold the LEFT button on the OSD for 5 seconds.
This camera uses built-in smart IR technology which allows the camera to automatically adjust the intensity of the infrared illumination provided by the built-in IR LEDs based on the distance objects are located from the camera. Click to
