Description

The VT-J302 is a round security camera junction box that has a 5.5 inch / 139mm diameter. This white junction box is made of weatherproof aluminum construction that is perfect for outdoor installations. It can be used with dome and bullet style security cameras (BNC cameras and network IP cameras). The 3-hole and 4-hole screw mount patterns are supported. The universal pre-drilled hole patterns make this j-box compatible with just about every security camera, from all manufacturers. There are 2 pre-drilled threaded conduit entries for 3/4" conduit located on the side an back of the junction box which are optional to use.

Optional Corner Mount Bracket

The VT-CNM5 corner mount bracket can be used with this junction box. The VT-CNM5 allows you to install this bracket on a 90 degree corner of a building / structure.

Optional Pole Mount Bracket

The VT-PM5 pole mount bracket can be used with this junction box. The VT-PM5 allows you to install this bracket on round pole.

Gray Junction Box

This junction box is also available as a gray camera junction box (model VT-J302G) Here is a picture the VT-J302G junction box used to mount a BIPRO-9004 bullet camera. Please note that the VT-J302 can be used as a wall mount or ceiling mount for dome cameras and bullet cameras.

Security Camera Junction Box Installation Guide

The pre-threaded screw hole patterns supported by the VT-J302 support many different medium sized security cameras. This is junction box is designed for universal compatibility with all security camera manufacturers that use standard patterns and dimensions. Mounting screws are included.

The pre-drilled holes for the installation anchors on the back of the junction box are spaced 62mm / 2.44 inches apart.

Threaded Conduit Entries

Security Camera Junction Box Conduit Hole

There are 3/4" conduit entries located on the side and back of the junction box. In the above image you can see the conduit entry plug screwed into the conduit inlet located on the side of the junction box and the rear conduit hole open. Installers can use this conduit entry located on the rear of the box to feed cable through security when the junction box is mount flush against a ceiling or wall. Or you can use that entry to create a pendant mount installation to bring your security camera lower on high ceiling installations.

Junction Box Installations

Here are some example security camera installations using the VT-J302 junction box. This is an installation on a commercial building at a business.

Commercial Installation

Here is a picture of our IP-A4BZ 4mp bullet IP camera mounted to the junction box. This junction box works with most of our bullet style Viewtron IP cameras.

Residential Installation

The VT-J302 is also a great choice for residential installations. Here is a picture of one being used in a home security camera installation on a house in South Florida. This is the Viewtron 4K-B9 IR bullet camera.

Pole Installation

Here is another commercial installation that uses the VT-J302. This shows the Viewtron LPR-IP7 installed on a pole at CCTV Camera Pros warehouse using the junction box. The LPR-IP7 is a medium sized license plate recognition camera.

Great Product and Service	June 20, 2024

I was looking for a camera to read/record license plates but wasn't really sure what to get. I found CCTV Pros online and the reviews were good so I checked them out.

Website contain LOTS of useful info, tech details, and videos that walked me through everything. Still it's a pretty big investment so I reached out with some specific questions. I got an immediate response from James who sent back annotated photos of my layout, explained how to set things up, and assured me that I had the right camera and that it would work with my set-up. I took the plunge. Because I was using a standalone camera networked directly to my PC (not to an NVR) things were a little trickier than I anticipated.

Again I reached out to James directly and he responded (patiently) to all of my questions. Long story short if not for the amazing customer service I received both before and after the sale I likely would not have this system now.

Really grateful for all the help - I've been up and running now for about a month and couldn't be more satisfied. Also nice bonus to support a vet-owned business!

A lot of features in Viewtron products	May 29, 2024

CCTV Camera Pros have an impressive line of NVRs and Cameras that integrate seamlessly. I have worked in IT for the past 20+ years and I like to tinker. I chose CCTV Camera Pros and their Viewtron line because I did not want a system that would be dependent on internet or cloud connectivity. This system is happy working standalone. That said, you can configure your network and NVR to allow remote login/management from the internet.

I have contacted their support several times for various things such as : "explain x,y,z feature", "how-do-I do or can I do something", "will this off-brand camera work", or "how can I reset my lost admin password?", "Is there a firmware upgrade". Their support staff are CCTV Camera Pros employees and everyone I have chatted with have been courteous and knowledgeable about their products. They've had the answers and walked me through whatever the issue was. I cannot ask for more! Their Viewtron cameras are well-built and awesome as well. They have a Viewtron for nearly every scene that you would want to surveil and have installed a variety of the different models. Currently I am running 10 cameras - (3) A4BZ, (3) A4D, (1) A8D Viewtron cameras and 3 off-brand POE IP cameras. The off-brand ONVIF compatible ones do not have the AI features of the viewtrons but many of the features of the NVR work with them including PTZ/Zoom/recording schedules etc. I can say that the off-brand ones are certainly not the same build quality or as feature rich as the Viewtron ones.

Overall, I am very pleased with the Viewtron NVR and Cameras, but I am delighted by the people that are a part of CCTV Camera Pros!

The LPR camera paired with the suggested NVR handled our needs perfectly. Yes, it costs more than a bargain system on amazon but you really do get what you pay for with this.

Ordering a new security system was easy because I knew I was going to order from CCTV Camera Pros. I’d dealt with them years ago when setting up a much cheaper, simpler system. Over the years, I followed CCTV Camera Pros on their website and received regular email updates regarding new technology. I’m not remotely knowledgable about CCTV and the intricacies of the cameras, DVR’s, and NVR’s. Talking to Mike assured me that I could get exactly what was needed for my situation and feel comfortable using it. I knew I wanted complete coverage of the property, AI cameras, and an LPR camera. I sent Mike pictures and he showed me exactly where each camera should be placed for optimal coverage. Whenever I had questions regarding specifics of each camera or NVR set-up, the professionals at CCTV Camera Pros have always walked me through it with incredible patience and support. I’ve never felt like any question was a “dumb question”. These guys know what they’re talking about and they live and breathe this technology! I should also mention the care and speed of shipping. All equipment was packed well, arrived quickly, and was tracked throughout the shipment. I also found the return of some unused junction boxes to be smooth and easy. Not only AMAZING equipment, but SUPERIOR long-term	January 17, 2024

I needed affordable, modern-day advanced or AI Camera technology for a custom project that included License Plate Reading (LPR), Vehicle Detection, Face Recognition, Tripwire/Intrusion Zones, and Alarm Signal Output. I knew the technology existed and that integration was possible, but I didn't know where to find it until I found CCTV Camera Pros.

The Viewtron NVR AI system completely exceeded my expectations and in my opinion is well worth every penny.

The documentation, videos, and walkthroughs available directly from their website made setup and configuration and absolute breeze. While I didn't have any problems, I had some questions to clarify and was more than happy with their response time, clarity, and guidance.

As I moved to optimize my system, I needed some help and they did not hesitate to respond and help above and beyond what I would say you typically find these days from other companies. They CONTINUE to blow me away with how they do business and fully embrace the customer relationship. It is clear that the CCTV Camera Pros team take pride in what they do and *WANT* to teach people how to be better.

CCTV Camera Pros will continue to be my very first go-to for any new project!
