The Vivotek IP816A-LPC-18 is a license plate capture IP camera with 1080p recording resolution - 1920 x 1080 at 30 frames per second or 60 frames per second in single stream mode. The Vivotek IP816A-LPC-18 LPR camera uses a 4 ~ 18mm varifocal lens and a 1/1.9" progressive scan CMOS images sensor to provide superior image quality.
This camera is capable of capturing the license plates from up to two lanes of traffic at a time from a max distance of 20 meters / 60 feet on cars traveling 80 KM/H / 50 MPH or less.
The WDR Pro feature allows the camera to capture a high resolution image in environments with challenging lighting conditions, such as bright backlighting. It works by combining the darkest part of the image with the brightest part to create one highly detailed and balanced image.
The 3D Digital Noise Reduction feature enhances the image quality by removing image noise and graininess. A Removable IR Cut Filter blocks any unusable infrared lighting and only allows the visible light to pass through, further enhancing the image quality.
Users can record video clips and snapshots locally using the Micro SD / SDHC / SDXC Card Slot. The IP816A-LPC-18 can be powered by either 12V-DC, 24V-AC or POE 802.3AF, allowing for both data and power to be run over one Cat-5E cable. Like all Vivotek cameras, the IP816A-LPC-18 includes a 32 channel central management software.
