Description

The Vivotek IP9165-LPC-KIT is a license plate capture camera with a recording resolution of 1920 x 1080 (1080p) at 60 frames per second. The Vivotek IP9165-LPC-KIT includes a 12~40mm varifocal lens, providing a 11.6°~34.2° horizontal angle of view, and a 1/2" progressive scan CMOS image sensor, providing phenomenal image quality.

Viewtron NVRs (Vivotek Replacement)

They also include the best remote security camera viewer apps and software available. All Viewtron NVRs are ONVIF compliant, so they also work with existing Vivotek IP cameras and all other ONVIF compatible brands.

This camera kit is available in two variations, a street variation and a highway variation. The street variation can capture plates of vehicles traveling at up to 60MPH(90km/hr) and the highway variation can capture plates of vehicles traveling at up to 110MPH(180km/hr). Both kits can be mounted from up to 20 meters from where the vehicles will be traveling and can capture plates from two lanes at once.

The WDR Pro II feature allows the camera to capture high resolution video in environments with challenging lighting conditions, such bright or dark backgrounds. It works by combining the darkest part of the image with the brightest part to create one an image similar to that of the human eye.

The H.265 video compression utilized by this camera model is far more efficient than H.264. When combined with the Smart Stream III technology, the H.265 video compression consumes up to 90% less storage space and bandwidth than H.264. An IP68/IK10 rated outdoor enclosure protects the vital components of the camera from harsh weather, dust, humidity, direct impact, and acts of vandalism.

A Removable IR Cut Filter provides the option to use an external infrared illuminator, included with this kit, by blocking any unusable lighting and only allowing the visible light to pass through. This prevents the image from being overexposed by IR reflection. The IR LEDs included in the IR illuminator are adjustable from the camera's web interface to dial in the perfect intensity for any application.

The headlight suppression feature blocks the lighting emitted by the headlights of vehicles so that they do not overexpose the lens or prevent the camera from capturing front-mounted license plates.

Users can record video clips and snapshots locally using the built-in Micro SD / SDHC / SDXC Card Slot. The IP9165-LPC-KIT is powered by 24V-AC/DC. Like all Vivotek cameras, the IP9165-LPC-KIT includes a 32 channel central management software.
