This demo video demonstrates the capabilities of the PTZ-HD-20 1080P infrared PTZ camera.
Video Transcript
The PTZ-HD-20 is a high definition pan tilt zoom camera with 20x optical zoom and built-in infrared night vision. This one is installed on the front of the building at CCTV Camera Pros office.
This video was captured with the PTZ-HD-20 connected to an iDVR-PRO surveillance DVR.
I am using a USB mouse connected to the DVR to access the DVR menu and control the camera.
I can access the PTZ controls by clicking on this icon.
On the PTZ control screen, I have quite a few preset locations already configured.
I can click on any of the presets to have the camera move to those locations.
This is the view to the right side of our parking lot.
In the distance, there is a street intersection with a sign located 550 feet away from the camera. When I click on the intersection preset,
The camera will zoom in this location.
With the camera’s 20x optical zoom, you can clearly read the letters of the sign from 550 feet away.
I am going to access the PTZ control screen again to navigate to a few additional preset locations. This is the main entrance to the parking lot.

This is the view in front of our office entrance.
In addition to the preset location controls, users can move the camera to any location using these pan and tilt controls.
When I am done, I exit the PTZ screen and switch back to the 4 camera view.
The PTZ-HD-20 supports UTC. This stands for up the coax and means that PTZ commands are sent over the same coax cable as the video.
This is a 4-in-1 camera that supports 4 video modes. It supports 1080p high definition video in AHD, HD-TVI, and HDCVI modes.
It also supports 960H resolution in traditional analog CCTV mode.
It has a 4.7 to 90mm 20x optical zoom lens.
This camera is completely weatherproof and made for outdoor installations.
Although not demonstrated in this video, this camera has high power infrared LEDs built-in that let it see up to 300 feet in the dark.
