The BPRO-OL952 bullet indoor surveillance camera contains a Sony Effio HAD CCD II sensor which captures a high resolution color picture at a full 650 TV lines of resolution. This CCTV bullet camera has a 3.6mm lens which gives users a wide angle of view (approximately 90 degrees). This camera has an OSD (on-screen display) that can be accessed using the included joystick. The OSD allows users to configure advanced settings of the camera in order to achieve the finest possible image for the environment and light level it is being used in. Some additional settings that can be adjusted using the camera's OSD are D-WDR (digital wide dynamic range), back light compensation, digital noice reduction, day/night mode. Low Light Sample Picture
This surveillance photo was taken with the lights turned off in the office, the door 3/4 shut with lights on in the hallway, blinds shut, and computer monitor turned off. There is very little light coming through the small cracks in the blinds. All of the cameras setting are set to factory default for this image.
Ultra Low Light Sample Picture
This sample picture was taken in an ultra low light environment. The lights are turned off in the office, the door is shut, the blinds shut, and the computer monitor turned off. In the picture, in looks like a good amount of light is coming in through the blinds, but in fact it is NOT. It looks that way because the camera sens-up function was turned up all the way to x1024 to enhance the low light capability. In addition, the DNR (digital noise reduction) was turned up to make the image clearer in low light.
Ultra Small Size Bullet
The OL952 bullet CCTV camera is very small in size. It measures just 3 inches long and the diameter is 3/4 of an inch.
Advanced On Screen Display Controls
A big advantage that this bullet camera has over other CCTV cameras is the advanced on screen display that installers can use to setup the camera just right for the specific environment it is being setup in.
