The HD-EX23 is mainly used as a boat security camera because of it's marine stainless steel housing. The AISI 316L stainless steel housing is salt and rust resistant which protects the camera in harsh ocean environments. This makes it perfect perfect for boat, yacht, ship, and marina installations. Please note that CCTV Camera Pros does not exclusively supply this as a boat camera. Customers also use this corrosion proof camera in construction, manufacturing areas, and other areas that are exposed to corrosive elements. The 180 degree lens provides a horizontal 170 degree effective field of view.
The HD-EX23 is a 1080p / 2mp resolution HD coax security camera that can be connected to a DVR or multiplexer with RG59 coax cable. It supports the following HD CCTV video formats: HD-TVI, AHD, HD-CVI. It also supports legacy analog CCTV / CVBS video format. The video format can be selected using a small joystick that attached to the camera's video cable. The stainless steel housing is IP68 weatherproof rated so that it can be used for indoor and outdoor installations. The tri-axis mount allows installers to ceiling mount or wall mount the camera.
