Accessing Zavio NVC NVR on Mac
In this article, we will be going over accessing the ZAVIO NVC 2080 and 2160 via Mac computers. This will allow you to view live video on a Mac Computer using the Mozilla Firefox web browser. After a recent plugin update, Mozilla Firefox is the only web browser that will support Zavio remote viewing on Mac computers.
Setup Instructions
NOTE: You must use Mozilla and on version 51.0 The latest version of Mozilla will not support the plugin required to run the NVRs Video / Playback. You can download Mozilla Version 51.0 here -- Mozilla 51.0 Download
1. Prior to installing Mozilla Version 51.0, we will need to disable Mozilla Firefox automatic updates. Open Mozilla web Browser and follow the below instructions.
- Click the menu button
 and choose Options. - Select the panel.
- Select the tab.
- Check Never check for updates and uncheck Search Engines.
- Close the about:preferences page. Any changes you've made will automatically be saved.
2. Once you have disabled automatic updates please uninstall your current version of Mozilla and install Mozilla version 51.0
3. Now to access/view your NVR via Mozilla type in the IP address of your NVR into Mozilla's URL field > Type in the Username and Password once prompted ( See below reference image )
4. Click the Live View Tab > You will be prompted to install a plugin. Please make sure that you run/install this plugin.
5. Once the plugin is installed Double Click the camera names you would like to view on the right-hand panel. (See below reference image)
