NUUO Surveillance System FTP Upload on Motion Event

1. Start by bringing up the NUUO main console.
2. Configure your FTP server by clicking on the Config button and selecting Settings.Click on the Hotline tab.
3. In the lower left fill in all of the server information for where you want the files FTP uploaded to. Fill in the FTP server, Port, Username, Password, and Upload path fields.
4. Click on the test connection button to test the FTP communication.
5. When done, click ok.
6. Next, click on the guard button.
7. Select the camera that you want to configure for motion detection and click the add event button.
8. Select general motion for the type of event and click OK.
9. Using your mouse, draw a rectangle around the area that you want the motion detected in. In this example, we will draw it around the fence gate to detect anyone entering or leaving the pool area.
10. Click OK when done.
11. By default, the motion event will always send an alert to be displayed live on the monitor. We will add the additional action to FTP upload a file of the event. Click on the add event button and select the FTP event and click OK.
12. To start the smart guard application and motion detection, click on the start button and select start smart guard system.
13. To ensure the smart guard events are always running, click on the Config button and select settings. Under the general settings tab ensure that smart guard system is checked. The press OK.
14. Now that the motion event is configured, we will run a test by having someone enter the pool gate.
15. Notice that when the man enters the gate the motion detection alert is displayed on the screen.
16. Any other actions that are configured for this event in the smart guard system will also be run. In this case, the alert will send an image of the event to the FTP server that we configured.
