The WIFI-MR5 Point to Point / Multi-Point Wireless Receiver consists of one 5 Ghz wireless antenna that will act as a receiver for wireless transmitters, such as the WIFI-NAN5. The antenna can be configured to be used in either point to point (P2P) or point to multi-point (P2MP) wireless setups. This receiver is designed to be connected to a router, or Ethernet switch, in order to receive data transmission from a wireless transmitter connected to an IP camera or recorder.
This wireless camera receiver is completely weatherproof for outdoor use and is capable of receiving 150+ MBPS of TCP/IP with direct line of sight between itself and the transmitter. It allows surveillance installers and end users alike to transmit a single or multiple IP cameras or CCTV cameras (using network video servers) to a central DVR/NVR without expensive dredging to lay cables. The main purpose of a wireless setup is to provide a cost effective solution for remote and hard-to-reach camera locations where dredging or trenching cable is not cost feasible or even possible.
Please note that the WIFI-MR5 is only a single receiver and must be used with a transmitter, such as the WIFI-NAN5, in order to form a wireless bridge. This receiver is available as a wireless bridge kit, which includes two transmitters in addition to the receiver, via product code WIFI-EN95610.

Wireless Receiver Mount Options
The WIFI-MR5 transmitter / receiver comes standard with pole mounts / straps. The optional WIFI-B107 mounting bracket supports wall and ceiling mount.
