We'll test the color of daytime motive the camera first. That door that I'm entering across the room is 36 feet away from where the camera is mounted. This room is just a little bit shy of 30X30. It's actually 28X28 and you can see the camera covers almost the whole room. It's quite a 90 degree view, so a little bit of the corners are cut off and I'm gonna shut off the light now. There's no light in this room. We have black out shades on the windows. There's just s little bit of ambient light coming from the door in the far corner, but this room is almost pitch black. There's no light in here.
You can see the camera does a good job illuminating almost the entire room with the infrared LED's. These LED's are rated at 100 feet, so this camera is actually a little bit too powerful for this room. I'll go ahead and turn the light back on and the camera automatically switches back to day mode and goes back into color.
I hope that this video gave you a good picture or what the BIRPO-540L4 CCTV camera is capable of. This camera is weather proof, so it can be used indoors and outdoors. The 3.6mm lens gives a wide angled view that is just a tad short of 90 degrees and the max infrared illumination is rated at 100 feet. Last, this is an extremely easy camera to set up. There are no lens adjustments or settings. The camera is pre-focused at the factory and just needs to be connected to a power supply and a DVR.
