The Geovision GV-IP-LPR-Camera-5R is an IP license plate capture camera (IP LPR camera) designed to capture reflective license plates on vehicles traveling at 37 MPH (60KmH) or less. This is ideal for parking lots or business plazas. The GV-IP-LPR-Camera-5R features a
1.3 Megapixel B/W (Black & White) Progressive Scan CMOS image sensor, capable of producing a resolution of 1280 x 1024 at 30 frames per second.
The
IP67 and IK10 rated enclosure enable the camera to withstand harsh weather conditions, temperatures ranging from -14°F to 122°F, acts of vandalism and direct object impact. Built-in IR LED's have an effective range of 5 Meters / 15 Feet and provide the camera with the ability to capture and record plates in dark environments.
Power is solely supplied through
PoE IEEE 802.3at using the included PoE Injector, allowing both data and power to be run over one Cat-5e cable. The 3 - 9mm motorized lens can be remotely adjusted by the user through the camera's web interface. This camera can automatically adjust the shutter speed to it's environment to produce clear license plate capture images.
This camera comes with everything needed for license plate capture such as the
GV-LPR Capture Dongle, GV-IP LPR Camera Software CD, GV-NVR Software DVD and the GV-ASManager Software DVD. This camera supports viewing from iPhone, iPad, Android and 3GPP mobile devices.
Please note: This Geovision LPR camera will not capture license plates that have a white base with red lettering.

Important LPR Software Note
The Geovision GV-IP-LPR-Camera-5R comes with a free GV-LPR Software, and the supplied GV-USB Dongle will need to be inserted to run the software. Since the free GV-LPR Software is a Trial Edition, it can only capture the license plate images and does not support the license plate recognition function. Therefore, the word "Capture" will be displayed in the license plate recognition results.

PoE for IP Camera
