HD-SDI / CCTV DVR Viewer for Mac and Windows Web Browsers
Viewtron hybrid HD-SDI CCTV DVRs support remote Internet viewing from Mac and Windows PCs using all major web browsers. This video demonstrates the remote Internet live security camera viewing from a Mac PC. The user experience on both Windows and Mac operating systems is the same with Viewtron DVRs.
Video Playback Instructions
For the best viewing experience, start playing the video, then select the highest video quality setting by clicking on the video settings button.
If you were able to select 720p or 1080p video, you should also select full-screen mode to see the video larger. You can break out of full-screen mode by clicking on the Esc button on your keyboard.

In this video, we will demonstrate the remote live view of CCTV cameras connected to a Viewtron surveillance DVR from the Safari web browser on a Mac computer.
Please note that the DVR viewer interface for Viewtron DVRs works exactly the same on both Windows and Macintosh computers. After I launch the Safari web browser on my Mac, I enter the IP address of the DVR into the address bar.
The DVR viewer loads and I am prompt for my login ID and password.
Once I connect, I am change the video stream to the record quality setting and I also turn on the image smoothing.
We recommend enabling both of these settings to experience high definition video quality.
I can change the live view to a 4 camera grid view by clicking on this button.
I can also change to a single camera by clicking on the single camera button Please note that cameras 1 through 4 on this system are HD CCTV cameras, also known as HD-SDI and are capable of 1080p resolution.
This is a hybrid model surveillance DVR that allows users to combine 4 HD and 4 SD close circuit television cameras on a single system.
This system has HD-SDI security cameras on channels 1 through 4 and 4 traditional, standard definition CCTV cameras on channels 4 through 8.
