iDVR-PRO CCTV DVR's now support analog CCTV, AHD, and HD-TVI high definition cameras. This video shows how to configure each channel of DVR for those camera types. Using the mouse, access the menu of the DVR at the bottom of the screen. Select menu, then system set up. From the camera menu, select analog type set up. This happens to be a 16 channel DVR. You can see that there's a camera type drop down for each of the 16 channels. There are 3 options in the drop down. TVI-A, TVI-B, and AHD. The AHD setting is used for analog CCTV cameras and AHD, which stands for Analog High Definition Cameras. The TVI-A setting is used for 720p Resolution AHD cameras, and the TVI-B setting is used for 1080p Resolution HD-TVI cameras. By default, all channels are set to AHD. If you're using standard definition CCTV cameras and/or a combination of AHD cameras, you do not need to change anything.

After you are done, click apply, then close. When you're back at the live view of your cameras, you can click anywhere outside of the menu, to make the menu disappear.
