The PRO-PLK51 is a power line gigabit Ethernet adapter kit that enables network from an IP camera to a router or switch. Power-link adapters are sometimes called power-link adapters and can be used with any network device (including IP cameras). To set up a power-line adapter users simply connect one of the adapters to a network switch or router and the other adapter to an IP camera. The two adapters must be plugged into a power outlet that is on the same circuit breaker. No new wires are required. Users can use existing electrical wiring. Users can add another PLK40 kit to add two additional devices to their network. For example, the first kit is used to connect one device to a router. When a user adds a second powerline kit, both adapters can be used for additional IP cameras or other devices to the same network. It is not necessary to have additional receiving units connected to the router.

Indoor to Outdoor Wireless Alternative Power-Line adapters are a great alternative to wireless IP camera systems, especially when it comes to outdoor cameras. It is difficult at best and most of the time not even possible to get a reliable WIFI signal outdoors from an indoor access point. Power-Line adapters are a great alternative to wireless.
