Description

The Geovision GV-FD5700 is a fixed indoor IP dome camera featuring an HD recording resolution of 2592 x 1944 at up to 30 frames per second. It features a 1/1.8" progressive scan CMOS image sensor to produce image quality that is crisp and clear to the human eye.

A tri-axis mounting mechanism allows the installer to manually pan, tilt, and roll the camera to find the perfect position to mount the camera on a wall or ceiling. The 4 ~ 8mm varifocal lens provides a wide range of horizontal viewing angles ranging from 90° down to 48°.

The Intelligent IR feature enables the camera to continue recording in low or no light environments and has an effective range of 30 meters / 98.4 feet. The infrared LEDs are able to dim and brighten as objects pass within view of the lens to prevent the LEDs from bouncing off the object and causing the image to whiteout.

The WDR Enhancement feature provides highly detailed image quality in environments that have constantly changing or challenging lighting conditions. It works by taking the darkest part of the image and combining it with the brightest part to create an image close to that of the human eye. Further enhancing the image quality is the Removable IR Cut Filter, which blocks the unusable infrared lighting and only allows usable light to pass through the lens.

The Geovision GV-FD5700 can be powered by 12V-DC or Power over Ethernet (PoE 802.3AF). Remote viewing is possible on many platforms including PC, iPhone, iPad, Android and 3GPP mobile devices.

Remote Viewing Support

Geovision includes many options to view your cameras remotely over a local network and also remotely over the Internet. Remote viewing is supported by both Windows and Mac based PCs. Geovision also includes support to view cameras from cell phones and other mobile devices including: iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Android, Blackberry, Windows Mobile, Symbian, and other 3G / 3GPP cell phones. Geovision provides free apps for all of these types of devices. PoE for IP Camera
