4MP Vandal-Proof Dome Camera

The GeoVision GV-ADR4702 is a 4 megapixel VandalProof Dome IP Camera that supports infrared night vision up to 30m / 100 feet. This camera is also available in a 2mp / 1080p version here. The IP67/IK10 outdoor vandal-proof rated enclosure protects the vital components of the camera from harsh weather, dust, humidity, and acts of vandalism. The GeoVision GV-ADR4702 includes a Fixed 2.8mm Lens, providing the user with a wide 101° angle of view. A 1/3" progressive scan low lux CMOS sensor allows the camera to capture video surveillance at 4 Megapixel resolution up to 20 frames per second.

This camera has exceptional low light capabilities with a color lux rating of 0.02 and a black & white lux rating of 0.02. For environments with little to no light, the GV-ADR4702 features Infrared LEDs with an effective range of 30 meters / 100 feet allowing the camera to continue monitoring the area around the clock. The Intelligent IR feature brightens and dims the intensity of the LEDs automatically to prevent the image from whiting out due to IR bounce back. A Removable IR Cut Filter further enhances the image quality by blocking the unusable infrared lighting and only allowing the visible light to pass through.

The GV-ADR4702 includes WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) Enhancement, which enhances the image quality in environments with challenging lighting conditions (such as ultra bright or dark back lighting). It works by combing the darkest part of the image with the brightest part to create one highly detailed image.

This camera can be powered by either the included 12V-DC power adapter or by POE (Power over Ethernet) 802.3AF. The POE feature allows the installer to run both data and power over one CAT5-E cable, however this will require a POE compliant network switch or injector.

The GV-ADR4702 includes a 32 channel central management software with a multitude of features and is remotely viewable from PC's, iPhone, iPad, Android and 3GPP mobile devices.

Note: The Geovision GV-ADR4702 will not work with the GV-SNVR1600 network video recorder.

Note 2: The Geovision GV-ADR4702 is ceiling mountable only. If you wish to wall mount it, the optional wall mount bracket will need to be used.
