The Vivotek-VS8401 is a 4 Channel Video Server featuring full D1 resolution at up to 30 frames per second using the H.264 video compression format. The Vivotek-VS8401 4 Channel Video Server converts Analog video and audio streams to digital (IP) streams using the highest quality. This video server features Motion Detection as well as Tamper Detection, turning an ordinary Analog camera into an intelligent camera and enhancing the level of security. To further up the level of security is the security protocols, HTTPS and 802.1x. It supports 4 BNC video inputs as well as 4 RCA audio inputs and features the ability to support two-way audio. The Vivotek-VS8401 has an RS-485 interface to allow for the control of PTZ cameras. This video server has 4 digital I/O for the user of external sensors and alarms. The Vivotek-VS8401 includes a 32 channel central management software to help the user upgrade to a full featured IP security solution.
