The Vivotek-VS8801 8 Channel Video Server supports up to 30 frames per second in full D1 resolution using the H.264 compression format. The Vivotek-VS8801 8 Channel Video Server converts Analog video signals into digital (IP) video signals with the highest quality. The video server features Motion and Tamper Detection, thus turning an ordinary Analog camera into an intelligent camera and upping the level of security. Further enhancing the level of security is the security protocols, HTTPS and 802.1x. It supports 8 video inputs as well as 8 audio inputs and has the ability to support two-way audio. The Vivotek-VS8801 has an RS-485 interface to allow for the use and control of PTZ cameras. It has 8 digital I/O for external sensors and alarms. The Vivotek-VS8801 includes a 32 channel central management software to help the user upgrade to a full featured IP surveillance solution.
