The Vivotek-PZ8111 is a high performance pan, tilt, zoom IP camera that offers 10x optical zoom. The Vivotek PZ8111 is designed as an indoor camera and works exceptionally well in offices, stores or temperature controlled warehouses. Thanks to the 10x motorized optical zoom module, clear-cut images are available with near or distant objects.

The Vivotek-PZ8111 is capable of a 300-degree pan and a 135-degree tilt. The PZ8111 features H.264 compression for smaller file sizes and bandwidth conservation but also features M-PEG4 and MJPEG. The streams have the ability to be individually configured to meet different constraints, reducing storage and bandwidth requirements.

Users can then receive multiple streams simultaneously in different frame rates, resolutions and image qualities for viewing on different platforms. Adding to the long list of features the PZ8111 integrates Power over Ethernet, making installation easier and more cost effective. The PZ8111 also includes a free multi-lingual 32-channel recording software which gives users the ability to set up an easy-to-use surveillance system.

PoE for IP Camera

This IP camera is PoE (power over Ethernet) compliant which allows the installer to run a single CAT-5e cable to provide both power and data connectivity to the camera. CCTV Camera Pros supplies the following PoE injectors and PoE network switches which are compatible with this camera.
