The Vivotek IP8165HP Low Lux Network Box Camera features a recording resolution of 1920 x 1080 at 60 frames per second in single stream mode or 1920 x 1080 at 30 frames per second in dual stream mode. The Vivotek IP8165HP Low Lux Network Box Camera includes a 2.8 - 8mm Varifocal lens and a 1/2.8" Progressive CMOS image sensor.

The WDR Pro Enhancement feature provides extreme visibility in high contrast environments using a four shutter capture method. 3D Noise Reduction Technology allows the IP8165HP to capture clear images in low light conditions by reducing the amount of sensor noise in the image. These two features combined create an increased level of image detail in both bright and dark environments. This camera features a low lux rating of 0.17 in Color mode and 0.001 in Black & White mode.

The P-Iris lens uses a built-in stepping motor to control the iris of the lens, providing the highest image quality. The RBF (Remote Back Focus) feature allows the installer to adjust the focus with ease by assisting them with precise focus adjustment.

The built in Micro SD / SDHC / SDXC Card Slot allows for local recording of video clips and snapshots. This camera can be powered by either 12V-DC, 24V-AC or POE 802.3af. Like all Vivotek cameras a 32 channel central management software is included, providing the capabilities of a professional network video recorder.
