The Geovision GV-FD2500 is a Low Lux (low light surveillance) IR Dome IP Camera. This IP camera featured a recording resolution of 1920 x 1080 at 30 frames per second. It features a 1/2.8" low lux progressive scan CMOS image sensor that allows the camera to drop down to 0.02 Lux in both color and black & white mode.

The 3 ~ 9mm lens provides a wide range of horizontal viewing angles that range from 36° to 103°. The Intelligent Infrared feature enables the camera to continue recording in environments with no light and has an effective range of 30 meters / 90 feet.

The WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) Pro Enhancement feature helps to provide highly detailed image quality in environments with challenging lighting conditions. It works by combining the darkest part of the image with the brightest part to create one balanced image.

The Geovision GV-FD2500 is a dual voltage camera, which means it can be powered by either 12V-DC or 24V-AC in addition to POE (Power over Ethernet). A Micro SD / SDHC Card Slot allows the camera to record video clips and snapshots locally. Remote viewing is possible from many platforms including PC, iPhone, iPad, Android and 3GPP mobile devices.

Remote Viewing Support

Geovision includes many options to view your cameras remotely over a local network and also remotely over the Internet. Remote viewing is supported by both Windows and Mac based PCs. Geovision also includes support to view cameras from cell phones and other mobile devices including: iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Android, Blackberry, Windows Mobile, Symbian, and other 3G / 3GPP cell phones. Geovision provides free apps for all of these types of devices. Some remote viewing methods require use of the NVR software that is included with the camera and some methods can connect directly to the camera and do not require a PC be used. PoE for IP Camera

This IP camera is PoE (power over Ethernet) compliant which allows the installer to run a single CAT-5e cable to provide both power and data connectivity to the camera. CCTV Camera Pros supplies the following PoE injectors and PoE network switches which are compatible with this camera.
