The Vivotek-IP8162 HD Megapixel Network Camera features the ability to record in full 1080P high definition video resolution at up to 30 frames per second. The Vivotek-IP8162 HD Megapixel Network Camera can support simultaneous multiple streams of each H.264, MPEG-4 and MJPEG compression video codecs.

The removable IR cut filter and WDR enhancement allow the camera to maintain a clear image 24 hours a day and in any lighting condition. This camera can be set to a wide variety of viewing angles thanks to the 3.1 - 8mm Varifocal lens and 2 Megapixel CMOS image sensor. The Focus Assist button on the camera makes it a simple task to dial in the perfect viewing angle for your application by displaying an on screen focus indicator.

It includes a Vivotek 32 channel IP central management software and is also compatible with NUUO IP Camera Software. The Vivotek-IP8162 can record video clips and snapshots locally using the Micro SD / SDHC card slot, this is a great option for users who do not wish to record large amounts of video data. Another great feature is the ability to be powered by 12V-DC, 24V-AC or POE 802.3af allowing it to be used in almost any application.
