The Geovision GV-BX5300 is a
5 Megapixel IP (Network) box camera capable of recording in
2560 x 1920 video resolution at up to
10 frames per second. The GV-BX5300 has a
4.5 - 10mm varifocal megapixel lens and a 1/2.5" progressive scan CMOS image sensor. A built in microphone allows for audio monitoring and recording.
The
IR cut filter allows the GV-BX5300 to maintain a clear, detailed image in low light environments with a lux rating of 0.15 in color and 0.10 in black and white mode. The
WDR Enhancement feature creates a much clearer image by blocking unnecessary light and only allowing visible light to pass through, this is ideal for very bright or dim environments. The camera is powered by 12V-DC and has the ability to run on
PoE 802.3af.
A
Micro SD / SDHC / SDXC card slot (class 6 and above) enables the GV-BX5300 to record video clips and snapshots locally. It can be mounted in multiple positions including ceiling and wall (
Mounting Positions).
This IP camera is PoE (power over Ethernet) compliant which allows the installer to run a single CAT-5e cable to provide both power and data connectivity to the camera. CCTV Camera Pros supplies the following PoE injectors and PoE network switches which are compatible with this camera.
