The Vivotek FD8131V compact vandal dome camera features a high resolution megapixel video recording of 1280 x 800 at 30 frames per second. The FD8131V megapixel vandal dome gives installers a wide range of viewing angle options with the 3 - 12mm Vari Focal lens.

The IP66 and IK10 rated housing enables the camera to stand up to harsh weather conditions and acts of vandalism. The Vivotek FD8131V utilizes the H.264 video compression format to reduce file size and conserve bandwidth.

A Micro SD / SDHC card slot allows the user to record video clips and snapshots locally. The FD8131V can be powered by either 12V-DC or POE 802.3af. The tri axis mounting mechanism on the FD8131V gives it the ability to be mounted to a ceiling or wall for use in most applications. Like all other Vivotek products the FD8131V includes a 32 channel central management software that has similar features to a network video recorder.

PoE for IP Camera

This IP camera is PoE (power over Ethernet) compliant which allows the installer to run a single CAT-5e cable to provide both power and data connectivity to the camera. CCTV Camera Pros supplies the following PoE injectors and PoE network switches which are compatible with this camera.
