The Vivotek FE8174V a is a vandal-proof and weatherproof fisheye 360 camera with 5 megapixel lens. This 360 degree camera is capable of recording at 1920 x 1920 at 15 frames per second or 1920 x 1080 at a full 30 frames per second. The Vivotek FE8174V includes a 1.5mm wide angle lens and a 1/2.5" Progressive Scan CMOS image sensor for superior image quality.

This camera is capable of displaying two 180° panoramic images or one 360° image with virtually no blind spots. This is perfect for covering wide open areas such as airports, malls and parking garages. In addition to panoramic and 360 viewing modes, the FE8174V can display in several other video modes including a quadrant view that replicates the capabilities of 4 individual cameras.

The IK10 / IP66 rated enclosure protects the vital components of the camera from acts of vandalism in addition to harsh weather conditions, making the camera ideal for indoor or outdoor environments. For light environments the FE8174V features a Color lux rating of 0.03 and a Black & White lux rating of 0.001 without the use of infrared LEDs. A Removable IR Cut Filter allows for the use of an external infrared illuminator and works by blocking the infrared lighting and only enabling the visible light to pass through, creating a clearer low light image.

The WDR Enhancement feature further enhances the image quality in environments with challenging lighting conditions. It works by combining the brightest part of the image with the darkest part to create one highly detailed and balanced image.

The Vivotek FE8174V can be powered by either 12V-DC or POE 802.3af, allowing both video and power to be run over one Cat-5E cable. A Built-in Micro SD / SDHC / SDXC Card Slot allows the user to record video clips and snapshots locally. Like all Vivotek cameras, the FE8174V includes a central management software to record, manage and view the camera on a Windows PC.
