Please Note: The Geovision GV-BX2400-1F is no longer manufactured, please refer to the Geovision Box Camera page for a replacement.
The Geovision GV-BX2400-1F features a fixed 8mm lens and a 2 megapixel, 1/3" progressive scan CMOS image sensor. The GV-BX2400-1F also has an HD recording resolution of 1920 x 1080 at up to 30 frames per second.
This camera does very well in low light environments with a color lux rating of 0.08 and a black / white lux rating of 0.05. For completely dark environments, the Removable IR Cut Filter allows for the use of an external infrared illuminator. The WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) feature combines the brightest part of the image with the darkest part to create one highly detailed and balanced image, this is especially useful in an environment with constantly changing light.
The POE (POE 802.3af) option on this camera allows the user to run both video and power over one Cat-5 cable. Video clips and snapshots can be recorded locally using the built-in Micro SD / SDHC / SDXC card slot (Class 6 and above cards recommended by Geovision). A mini USB port on the back of the camera accepts the optional wireless adapter.
The GV-BX2400-1F includes a 32 channel central management software and is remotely viewable from PC's, iPhone, iPad, Android and 3GPP mobile devices.
