POS Text Integration via TCP / IP

Cash Register Camera Setup for Viewtron CCTV DVRs / IP Camera NVRs

Follow these instructions to setup the POS text integration for Viewtron CCTV DVRs and Viewtron IP camera NVRs using TCP / IP to send cash register text. You can also use the RS-232 printer port on your POS system to send transaction data from your cash register. You can find the POS text setup using RS-232 printer port here.

For demo purposes, we are going to use a POS text generator / POS simulator in these instructions. The POS text generator simulates typical text generated in a retail sales transaction. The generator sends the transaction data via TCP / IP to the Viewtron DVR / NVR. This is exactly how works with a POS system / cash register that is capable of TCP / IP integrations. If you are a point of sale manufacturer, CCTV Camera Pros can help you integrate your POS system with Viewtron camera systems. Please contact us at info@cctvcamerapros.net if you need help.
