The Geovision GV-ABL8712 outdoor bullet IP security camera features an
IP67 / IK10 outdoor rated enclosure to protect the vital components of the camera from harsh weather, dust, humidity, direct object impact, and acts of vandalism. The Geovision GV-ABL8712 includes a motorized 2.8~12mm varifocal lens, providing the user with an adjustable 114°~47° horizontal angle of view. The lens can be adjusted remotely from the camera's web interface and features a 4.3x optical zoom.
A 1/2" CMOS image sensor allows the camera to record in
3840 x 2160 at up to 15 frames per second. It also supports recording resolutions of 2944 x 1656, 2592 x 1944, or 2560 x 1440 at up to 30 frames per second.
This camera has exceptional low light capabilities with a
color lux rating of 0.003. For environments with little to no light, the GV-ABL8712 features Infrared LEDs with an effective range of 50 meters / 164 feet. A Removable IR Cut Filter further enhances the image quality by blocking the unusable infrared lighting and only allowing the visible light to pass through.
The GV-ABL8712 includes
WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) Pro Enhancement, which enhances the image quality in environments with challenging lighting conditions (such as ultra bright or dark backlighting). It works by combining the darkest part of the image with the brightest part to create one highly detailed image similar to that of the human eye.
This camera can be powered by either the included
12V-DC power adapter or by POE (Power over Ethernet) 802.3AF. The POE feature allows the installer to run both data and power over one CAT5-E cable, however, this will require a POE compliant network switch or injector.
The GV-ABL8712 includes a 32 channel central management software with a multitude of features and is remotely viewable from PC's,
iPhone, iPad, Android, and 3GPP mobile devices.

Remote Viewing Support
Geovision includes many options to view your cameras remotely over a local network and also remotely over the Internet. Remote viewing is supported by both Windows and Mac based PCs.
Geovision also includes support to view cameras from cell phones and other mobile devices including: iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Android, Blackberry, Windows Mobile, Symbian, and other 3G / 3GPP cell phones. Geovision provides free apps for all of these types of devices.

PoE for IP Camera
This IP camera is PoE (power over Ethernet) compliant which allows the installer to run a single CAT-5e cable to provide both power and data connectivity to the camera. CCTV Camera Pros supplies the following PoE injectors and PoE network switches which are compatible with this camera.
