The MINI-540CO is a covert mini spy cam with a tiny pinhole lens. This tiny CCTV camera is typically hidden behind or inside of objects for convert video surveillance applications. The size of the square case of this camera is 25mm(w) x 25mm(h) x 18mm(d).
This pinhole spy camera supports 960H and 2 megapixel (1080p) resolutions using 4 selectable video modes: analog CCTV (CVBS), 1080p AHD, 1080p HD-TVI, and 1080p HDCVI. This means that the camera can be used with traditional analog CCTV and HD over coax DVRs. The video modes are easily switched by the installer using the OSD joystick that is included.
The camera has an advanced OSD menu that can be accessed using a small push-button joystick located on the video cable that can adjust settings such as backlight compensation, day/night mode, color, contrast, sharpness, hue, gain, and more. For most users, the factory default settings work great and the camera simply needs to be powered on and connected to a video output.
This camera comes with a 4.3mm pinhole lens which provides a fairly wide angle of view (about 63 degrees). This spy camera is extremely small in size yet has the same lens angle of view and great picture as many of our other high-resolution security cameras. This spy camera comes with a U type holder /mount, as well as the power and video cable leads, and OSD joystick. These cameras can easily be hidden in walls, clocks, toys, and just about any object you want. Custom hidden spy cameras can be fabricated from just about anything to conceal these mini CCTV cameras.

This video demonstrates the normal light and low light video surveillance capability of the MINI-540CO. Important Note: this video was made by an analog CCTV version before the camera supported 2 megapixel HD over Coax resolutions. Please refer to the below images for HD images. The camera used in this video is mounted in the far corner of the room at nine feet high. The size of the room is 28 feet by 29 feet, and the door is 36 feet away from the camera. The floor lamp is the only source of light for the low light video test and it has a 15 watt light bulb in it.

The door is 36 feet away from where the camera is mounted. This image was captured with the camera in analog CCTV mode / 960H resolution (960 x 480 pixels).
Low Light Spy Camera Lights Off Picture
All of the lights were turned off in the room when this picture was captured. The windows have blackout shades pulled down. The only source of light is from a 15 way light bulb in the floor lamp. This simulates very low light surveillance. The lamp appears bright from the camera image because the MINI-540CO is very good at capturing low light video surveillance
This image was captured with the latest version of the MINI-540CO, which supports AHD camera mode (in addition to analog CCTV mode). Images in HD-TVI and HDCVI modes will be the same as below (2 megapixel / 1080p resolution).

Remote View from Mobile App
These images were captured while viewing the MINI-540CO remotely using the Android and iOS apps for iDVR-PRO. The camera is connected to an iDVR-PRO surveillance DVR (you can learn more about this DVR below). The DVR includes free mobile apps for iPhone and Android that allow you to view your camera live, receive push notifications, and also playback video that has been recorded on the DVR's hard drive.

Installers can easily select the video mode using the small joystick that is attached to the camera's video cable. Simply hold the joystick in any direction for 5 seconds to switch to that video mode.
