The Geovision GV-ADR2701 is a mini outdoor IP dome camera that features an
IP66 outdoor rated enclosure to protect the vital components of the camera from harsh weather, dust, humidity, and acts of vandalism. The Geovision GV-ADR2701 includes a Fixed 2.8mm Lens, providing the user with a wide 105.2° horizontal angle of view. A 1/2.7" CMOS image sensor allows the camera to record in 1920 x 1080 (1080P) at up to 25 frames per second.
This camera has a
color lux rating of 0.02 without the use of the infrared LEDs. For environments with little to no light, the GV-ADR2701 features Infrared LEDs with an effective range of 30 meters / 98.4 feet allowing the camera to continue monitoring around the clock.
Intelligent IR feature brightens and dims the intensity of the LEDs automatically to prevent the image from whiting out due to IR bounce back. A Removable IR Cut Filter further enhances the image quality by blocking the unusable infrared lighting and only allowing the visible light to pass through.
The GV-ADR2701 includes
WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) Enhancement, which enhances the image quality in environments with challenging lighting conditions (such as ultra bright or dark backlighting). It works by combining the darkest part of the image with the brightest part to create one highly detailed image similar to that of the human eye.
This camera can be powered by either the included
12V-DC power adapter or by POE (Power over Ethernet) 802.3AF. The POE feature allows the installer to run both data and power over one CAT5-E cable, however, this will require a POE compliant network switch or injector.
The GV-ADR2701 includes a 32 channel central management software with a multitude of features and is remotely viewable from PC's,
iPhone, iPad, Android, and 3GPP mobile devices.
Note: The Geovision GV-ADR2701 is ceiling mountable only. If you wish to wall mount it, the optional wall mount bracket will need to be used.

Remote Viewing Support
Geovision includes many options to view your cameras remotely over a local network and also remotely over the Internet. Remote viewing is supported by both Windows and Mac based PCs.
Geovision also includes support to view cameras from cell phones and other mobile devices including: iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Android, Blackberry, Windows Mobile, Symbian, and other 3G / 3GPP cell phones. Geovision provides free apps for all of these types of devices.

PoE for IP Camera
This IP camera is PoE (power over Ethernet) compliant which allows the installer to run a single CAT-5e cable to provide both power and data connectivity to the camera. CCTV Camera Pros supplies the following PoE injectors and PoE network switches which are compatible with this camera.
