Please Note: The Geovision GV-EDR1100-0F is no longer manufactured. Please refer to the Geovision IP Dome camera page for a replacement.
The Geovision GV-EDR1100-0F Mini Outdoor Dome Camera is the ideal entry level outdoor weatherproof / vandal resistant solution. The Geovision GV-EDR1100-0F features a
2.8mm Fixed Lens and a 1/3" CMOS image sensor, producing an image quality of 1280 x 1024 (1.3 Megapixel) at a full 30 frames per second (Demo Video).
The low light capabilities of this camera are well above other cameras in it's price range, with a
color lux rating of 0.05 and a black & white lux rating of 0.03. If the lux drops below 0.03, the Infrared LEDs activate and provide visibility with an effective range of 15 meters / 45 feet. This camera features an IP67 / IK10 rated enclosure which protects the camera from harsh weather, humidity, dust and acts of vandalism.
Even though this is considered an entry level outdoor dome camera, the GV-EDR1100-0F includes
WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) Enhancement, which enhances the image quality in environments with challenging lighting conditions (Such as ultra bright or dim lighting). It works by combing the darkest part of the image with the brightest part to create one highly detailed, balanced image.
This camera can be powered by either the included
12V-DC power adapter or by POE (Power over Ethernet) 802.3af. The POE feature allows the installer to run both video and power over one CAT5-E cable. The 2 axis mounting mechanism allows the user to mount to either a wall or ceiling with ease.
Please Note: The GV-EDR1100-0F can NOT
be used with pre-terminated Cat-5E cable due to housing size
constraints; it must be used with Cat-5E cables that do not have the
outer jacket, as
shown here.
The GV-EDR1100-0F includes a 32 channel central management software with a multitude of features and is remotely viewable from PC's,
iPhone, iPad, Android and 3GPP mobile devices. This camera is ideal for outdoor applications that require an affordable megapixel solution.

PoE for IP Camera
This IP camera is PoE (power over Ethernet) compliant which allows the installer to run a single CAT-5e cable to provide both power and data connectivity to the camera. CCTV Camera Pros supplies the following PoE injectors and PoE network switches which are compatible with this camera.
Please refer to these diagrams, to learn more about
how to wire IP cameras using a PoE injectors or a PoE switch.
