DDNS (Dynamic DNS) IP Setup - JP Surveillance DVRs

If you are connecting your JP series surveillance DVR to an Internet connection with a dynamic IP address, you need to use the following service to manage the Internet access to your DVR.  When you purchase a JP DVR from CCTV Camera Pros, you are eligible for a free DDNS account to manage your dymanic IP address. If you are unsure if your Internet access uses a dynamic IP address, please contact your Internet service provider to find out.  Most cable and DSL connections use a dyamic IP address but it is usually possible to obtain a static IP based also account from your provider.

1. Go to: www.j2kip.com
2. Click on the "Member Register" link.
3. Complete the online registration by choosing a Member ID and password and entering your contact email address.  Make note of the Member ID and Password that you choose because you will later enter this information into the DVR viewer.
4. After you register, you should be directed to the Member Login screen.  Enter the Member ID and Password that you just requested to login.
