IP Camera CCTV Test Monitor Firmware Update

The firmware of the latest version of the MON-IP7 and MON-7HD IP CCTV camera test monitors can be updated via wireless network to fix any bugs and/or to add the latest features released by the developers. The instructions below explain how to update the firmware of the latest revision of the MON-IP7 and MON-7HD CCTV IP Test Monitors from CCTV Camera Pros. They are basically the same product except in addition to IP camera and analog CCTV cameras, the MON-7HD also supports HD security cameras (AHD, HD-TVI, and HD-CVI cameras). All of the other functions are identical.

How to update the firmware

1. First, ensure that the MON-IP7 is connected to a wireless network with Internet access. Then, on the monitor, select Update.

2. Now select Application Update.

3. Once in the Application Update menu, you will see a list of all the available updates. To update, please select the Update button next to the app.

4. You will now see a progress bar to indicate the current status of the update download.

5. Now that the update has downloaded, you will be prompted to install the update. Press Install to continue.

6. Finally, you will see the message below once the app install is complete.
