The Geovision GV-PT220D is a pan tilt infrared camera capable of recording in 1920 x 1080 video resolution at 30 frames per second. Producing the high-resolution images is a 2-megapixel progressive scan CMOS image sensor.

The GV-PT220D can monitor large areas with a controllable pan of 360° and a tilt of 135°. To automate the process, the user can preset starting and stopping points into the camera to monitor select areas throughout the day.

This camera can be powered by either 12V-DC, 24V-AC or Power over Ethernet (PoE). The built-in Micro SD / SDHC / SDXC Card Slot allows the camera to capture video clips and snapshots locally.

For low light environments, the PT220D features a Color Lux rating of 0.15 and a B/W Lux rating of 0.10. When the lighting drops below 0.10 Lux, the Infrared LED's activate to provide the illumination needed to continue recording. To ensure the image stays clear when the LED's are active, a Removable IR Cut Filter blocks the infrared lighting and only allows visible light to pass through.

The Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) feature provides crisp, clear images in environments with challenging lighting conditions. It works by taking the brightest part of the image and combining it with the darkest part to create one balanced image.

The Geovision GV-PT220D can be mounted to either a wall or ceiling with the standard mount. Like all Geovision IP Cameras, the GV-PT220D includes a Free 32 Channel NVR Software that enables the user to monitor, record and manage their camera from a Windows PC. In addition to the NVR software, Geovision provides free iPhone, iPad and Android apps that allow the user to remotely view live video and recorded video playback.
