The Geovision GV-MDR3400-1F is a mini outdoor dome IP camera featuring a fixed 2.8mm lens paired with a 1/3.2" progressive scan CMOS image sensor. The Geovision GV-MDR3400-1F is capable of recording in 2048 x 1536 resolution at up to 20 frames per second.

This camera can be mounted to either a ceiling or the surface of a wall using the tri axis mounting mechanism (Mounting Positions). The IP67 rating of the housing protects the vital components of the camera from harsh weather, dust and humidity. The IK10 rating allows the enclosure to withstand acts of vandalism and direct object impact. It can also withstand temperatures ranging from -22°F to 122°F.

A Built-in Microphone allows the user to record audio in addition to video. WDR Enhancement allows the camera to capture clear images in environments with challenging lighting conditions. It works by combining the brightest part of the image with the darkest part to create one balanced image. 3D Digital Noise Reduction further enhances the image quality by removing the noise (graininess) from the image.

In low light environments the GV-MDR3400-1F maintains visibility with a low lux rating of 0.05 in black & white mode. A Micro SD / SDHC Card Slot allows the user to record video clips and snapshots locally. The EN50155 compliance allows the camera to be used on rolling objects such as a bus or train. This camera is solely powered by POE 802.3af, allowing for both data and power to be run over one Cat-5e cable.

This camera also features motion detection, tampering alarm, privacy mask and text overlay options. The GV-MDR3400-1F supports iPhone, iPad, Android and 3GPP mobile platforms.
