The Geovision GV-FD1500 is adome IP camera with low light and zero light video surveillance capabilities using the built-in infrared LEDs. This network IP camera supprots a recording resolution of
1280 x 1024 at a full 30 frames per second. It features a 1/3" Low Lux Progressive Scan CMOS Image Sensor to produce high resolution image quality in low light environments.
A tri-axis mounting mechanism allows the installer to manually adjust the camera for mounting on either a wall or ceiling. The 3 ~ 9mm lens provides a range of horizontal viewing angles from 32° to 90°.
The GV-FD1500 features Intelligent IR, which allows the camera to record in little to no light environments and has an effective infrared surveillance range of 30 meters / 90 feet. Without the use of the infrared LEDs, the GV-FD1500 can go down to as little 0.01 lux in both Color and Black & White mode.
The WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) Enhancement feature helps to provide highly detailed image quality in environments with challenging lighting conditions. It works by taking the darkest part of the image and combining it with the brightest part to create one balanced and highly detailed image. Further enhancing the image quality is the Removable IR Cut Filter, which blocks the infrared lighting and only allows visible light to pass through the lens, creating a more clear image.
The Geovision GV-FD1500 can be powered by 12V-DC, 24V-AC or Power over Ethernet (PoE). A Micro SD / SDHC Card Slot allows the camera to record video clips and snapshots locally. Remote viewing is possible from many platforms including PC, iPhone, iPad, Android and 3GPP mobile devices.

Remote Viewing Support
Geovision includes many options to view your cameras remotely over a local network and also remotely over the Internet. Remote viewing is supported by both Windows and Mac based PCs. Geovision also includes support to view cameras from cell phones and other mobile devices including: iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Android, Blackberry, Windows Mobile, Symbian, and other 3G / 3GPP cell phones. Geovision provides free apps for all of these types of devices. PoE for IP Camera
This IP camera is PoE (power over Ethernet) compliant which allows the installer to run a single CAT-5e cable to provide both power and data connectivity to the camera. CCTV Camera Pros supplies the following PoE injectors and PoE network switches which are compatible with this camera.
