The Vivotek FD8338-HV is a fixed outdoor IP dome camera featuring a recording resolution of 1280 x 800 at a full 30 frames per second. The Vivotek FD8338-HV includes a 2.8 ~ 12mm varifocal lens and 1/3" progressive scan CMOS image sensor for high quality images.

This camera is equipped with Smart Stream Technology and 3DNR (3D Digital Noise Reduction) to provide high image quality while reducing the amount of bandwidth consumed. An IP66 / IK10 rated enclosure protects the vital components of the camera from harsh weather, dust, humidity, direct impact and acts of vandalism.

WDR Pro Enhancement allows the FD8338-HV to capture high resolution image quality in environments with challenging lighting conditions such as bright or dark back lighting. It works by combining the brightest part of the image with the darkest part to create one balanced image.

Built-in Infrared Illuminators have an effective illumination range of up to 30 meters / 90 feet. A Removable IR Cut Filter blocks any unusable infrared lighting and only allows the visible light to pass through, further enhancing the quality of the image.

The Micro SD / SDHC / SDXC Card Slot allows for the local recording of video clips and snapshots. Like all Vivotek cameras, the FD8338-HV includes a 32 channel central management software for PC.
