The Vivotek FD816C-HF2 is a compact fixed IP dome camera designed to be mounted in the ceiling using a recessed mount. The Vivotek FD816C-HF2 has a recording resolution of
1920 x 1080 at a full 30 frames per second. This camera uses a 2 megapixel progressive scan CMOS image sensor to produce high quality video.
It features a
fixed 2.8mm lens, providing a wide 109° horizontal angle of view, ideal for monitoring retail stores and small businesses. For environments with challenging lighting conditions such as bright or dark back-lighting, the FD816C-HF2 features WDR Pro technology. The WDR Pro feature works by combining the brightest part of the image with the darkest part of the image to create one highly detailed image. Further enhancing the image quality is the 3D Digital Noise Reduction, which works by reducing the amount of noise (graininess) and producing a clearer image.
The Vivotek FD816C-HF2 has a built-in
Micro SD / SDHC / SDXC Card Slot for local video storage of video clips and snapshots. The FD816C-HF2 utilizes the H.264 video compression to reduce file size and free up bandwidth. The FD816C-HF2 is powered by POE 802.3af, allowing both video and power to be run over one Cat-5E cable. A Built-in Microphone allows the camera to record audio in addition to video and has an effective capture range of 5 meters / 15 feet.
It can be remotely accessed using a number of devices such as PC web browsers,
iPhone, iPad and 3GPP mobile devices.The Vivotek FD816C-HF2 includes a 32 channel central management software and is also fully compatible with NUUO IP Camera Software.
