The Geovision GV-VD5340-E is an arctic weather IP dome camera featuring a 5 megapixel recording resolution (2560 x 1920) at up to 10 frames per second (Demo Video). The Geovision GV-VD5340-E includes a Motorized 3.3 ~ 9mm lens and 1/2.5" Progressive Scan CMOS image sensor for superior image quality. With the motorized lens, the user is able to zoom in up to 3x and adjust the angle of view remotely from the camera's web interface.

The GV-VD5340-E features a IK10+ / IP67 rated housing to protect the vital components of the camera from acts of vandalism as well as harsh weather conditions. The housing on this camera can withstand temperatures ranging from -40°F to 122°F, perfect for arctic environments. This camera can be used for indoor or outdoor surveillance applications. A tri-axis mounting mechanism allows the user to manually pan, tilt and roll the camera to get the perfect viewing angle for their application.

This camera is designed for low light environments with a lux rating of 0.15 lux in Color mode and 0.10 lux B/W mode without the use of the infrared LEDs. Below 0.10 lux, the Infrared LEDs activate and provide illumination with an effective range of 20 meters / 60 feet.

The WDR feature helps to provide clear, high quality images in environments with challenging lighting conditions, such as bright back-lighting. It works by combining the brightest part of the image with the darkest part to create one highly detailed image.

To further enhance the low light capabilities, the GV-VD5340-E features a Removable IR Cut Filter, which blocks the unusable infrared lighting and only allows visible light to pass through.

The GV-VD5340-E can be powered by either 12V-DC, 24V-AC or POE 802.3at (Power over Ethernet) and includes a Micro SD Card Slot for local storage recording. Like all Geovision cameras, the GV-VD5340-E includes a 32 channel NVR software license for recording and playback.
