The Geovision GV-CA220 is a
2 Megapixel IP Cube Camera featuring full frame rate recording (30 frames per second) at 1920x1080 HD resolution (Demo Video). The Geovision GV-CA220 has a 3.35mm fixed lens and 1/2.5" progressive scan CMOS image sensor, allowing the user to cover a wide angle of view and still achieve a high quality image.
One feature that sets this Geovision camera apart from its competitors is the
WDR Enhancement (wide dynamic range). The WDR Enhancement essentially combines the darkest part of the image with the brightest part of the image to produce one highly detailed, balanced image. For low light environments the camera has a white light illuminator (flashlight like) with an effective range of 5 meters / 16 feet.
The Geovision GV-CA120 has a built in
PIR motion detector that can be configured to set off an alarm when motion is detected. Because the Geovision GV-120 camera includes the PIR motion detector hardware, it will deliver a higher caliber of motion detection than the more commonly used software models.
Dual video streams of H.264 and MJPEG are supported. The GV-CA220 includes a
32 channel IP license that is compatible with any Geovision IP camera. The camera can be remotely accessed by a number of devices including iPhone, iPad, Android, PC and 3GPP mobile devices.
An on board
speaker and microphone enables the GV-CA220 to support two way audio. Users can record video clips and snapshots locally on the camera by using the Micro SD / SDHC / SDXC card slot (card not included). The GV-CA220 can be powered by the included 5V-DC power supply or Power over Ethernet (POE 802.3af).

Remote Viewing Support
Geovision includes many options to view your cameras remotely over a local network and also remotely over the Internet. Remote viewing is supported by both Windows and Mac based PCs.
Geovision also includes support to view cameras from cell phones and other mobile devices including: iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Android, Blackberry, Windows Mobile, Symbian, and other 3G / 3GPP cell phones. Geovision provides free apps for all of these types of devices.

PoE for IP Camera
This IP camera is PoE (power over Ethernet) compliant which allows the installer to run a single CAT-5e cable to provide both power and data connectivity to the camera. CCTV Camera Pros supplies the following PoE injectors and PoE network switches which are compatible with this camera.
