The DPRO-9620VF dome infrared camera uses the new 1/3" Sony Super HAD CCD II which supports an ultra high 620 TV lines of resolution in color and 700 lines in black and white (night mode). This infrared dome CCTV camera supports an IR night vision mode in black and white and has 24 IR LEDs capable of up to an 82 foot infrared range in total darkness. The IR mode is selectable via the camera's push button on screen display. Installers can select the mode of the IR: On / Off, Low, Medium, High. In addition to being a high end night vision camera, the 9620VF also has built in WDR (wide dynamic range) capabilities which allows compensation for variations in foreground and background lighting. Installers can access the WDR settings using the cameras on screen display. The 2.8-12mm varifocal lens gives surveillance installers great control over the focal length of the camera. Adjust this security camera's lens all the way out to the 2.8mm settings for an ultra wide field of view. Adjust to the 12mm or anywhere in between 2.8 and 12 mm to zoom in to a closer view of the area where you need surveillance. This is great in situations such as mounting the camera 20 feet away from an area like a cash register and the business owners wants to monitor much more closely to the cash register or point of sale. Dome Camera Specification
The following 2 sample pictures were taken using the DPRO-9620VF that is mounted in our office in Palm Beach, Florida. This room is 30 feet long by 15 feet wide. The dome camera is ceiling mounted 9.5 feet high and centered on the room. This first picture was taken during the day with the lights on. The 9620VF is connected to our
iDVR-PRO8 video surveillance DVR and the snapshot function was used to take these two pictures.
This second picture was taken at night with all of the lights in the room turned off. All computer monitors were also turned off so that there was not any ambient light either. This was a true zero light test. As you can see the 9620VF has not problem in illuminating a room this size very well.
The following sample images were captured using the DPRO-9620VF and a NUUO PC based DVR. The dome camera is mounted 8 feet high with the lens adjusted as wide as it goes on the 2.8mm setting. The room is in CCTV Camera Pros office and is 10 x 12 with 8 feet ceilings. The first sample photo is with the lights. The lights are flourescent type. The second photo is with all of the lights off and ambient light being cast from the computer monitors in the room. The camera is in night time IR mode in the second sample image.

NOTE: The video quality seen in this video is not as good as the actual surveillance video originally recorded by the DVR. The video export and conversion process to youTube file format unfortunatelty causes video quality degredation. Actual resolution and clarity of the original video is better.
