The iDVR-PRO8 is an 8 camera CCTV digital video recorder (DVR) and part of CCTV Camera Pros new line of H.264 surveillance DVRs that utilize an embedded LINUX operating system. The iDVR PRO series is compatible with MAC and Windows computers and laptops for remote viewing. Users can also access this 8 channel H.264 DVR via all major mobile phone types including the Apple iPhone, Google Android / Droid, Blackberry or Windows Mobile for instant access from anywhere on the go.
The iDVR PRO series is available in 8 and 16 channel models and is capable of real time recording (30 frames per second per channel). The iDVR technology offers a stand alone, secure and stable platform for your surveillance video recording. The iDVR has an intuitive graphical user interface (GUI) that looks great and is easy to navigate. Both the 8 and 16 camera iDVR PRO DVRs have 4 RCA audio surveillance microphone inputs.

Logging into your DVR from your iPhone is simple: 1) Launch the Safari web browser from your iPhone. 2) Enter the IP address and port # of your DVR. 3) Select the camera that you want to view. The iDVR PRO is compatible with MAC laptops and desktops for remote viewing, DVR configuration, and PTZ camera controls. This is one of the few CCTV DVRs available that allow users to view your surveillance cameras remotely over the Internet from a Macintosh desktop or laptop. At this time, the iDVR PRO does not support remote video playback from MACs.
