The GV-NVR-1 is a single channel Geovision NVR software license for 3rd part IP cameras (non-Geovision cameras). Licenses can be purchased based on the number of cameras that you need for your system. The GV-NVR records video and audio data over TCI/IP networks.
The Geovision NVR offers all of the same state of the art features as Geovision DVR card surveillance systems. From monitoring features to video analytics as well as integration with license plate recognition, point of sale systems, and access control systems, the Geovision NVR stands as one of the most comprehensive IP surveillance software systems in the security market. The GV-NVR takes advantage of better image quality because of the progressive scan technology used and also allows advanced video features such as Picture-In-Picture and Picture-And-Picture. The 3rd party version of the NVR software supports compatibility with a wide range of third-party IP cameras and makes the GV-NVR the ultimate solution for pure IP surveillance environments.
Note: if you need software for Geovision IP cameras, then you do not need to buy a software license. Geovision now includes a 32 channel GV-NVR software license with all Geovision cameras. These licenses are ONLY needed for non-Geovision cameras. Compatible IP Cameras
